Bus or a dedicated train from Kunming to the scenic area, about ninety minutes, then a short ride to the gate you booked. Confirm the return before you walk in.
Staying nearby
Sleep in Kunming. Hotels at the gate are for people entering at dawn. The evening in the city is better food and an easier morning.
