Luoyang Longmen Station or the metro toward the grottoes, then the gate. It is south of the center. Allow the half day and the walk back.

Central Luoyang or near Longmen Station if the grottoes are the whole reason. Eat in the city. The restaurants at the gate are for emergencies.
