Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, and Golden Whip Stream sit inside this ticket. You can hike, and you can also ride buses and the Bailong Elevator and barely walk. The hiking tag is for the trails. The elevator is not a trek.
Give it two days if you can. One day becomes a race between the elevator and the last bus.
Stay behind rails. The pillars are a cliff. A drone, if you brought one, is a good way to meet a ranger and lose the drone.
Getting there
From Wulingyuan, a short ride to the gate you chose. Inside, official buses link the zones. Golden Whip Stream is the gentler walk. The rim trails are the hike. Do not plan to walk back down a road the buses use.
Staying nearby
Wulingyuan, near that gate. A dawn entry beats any hotel inside a restricted zone. Carry a layer. The rim is colder and wetter than town.
